Product Description
Having spent two years alone in France, doing his best to survive in a foreign land, and failing miserably to woo a dishy French copine, Michael Wright has everything he ever wanted. Yet he is still alone and - in a moment of rare self-knowledge - decides that the only way to find the girl of his dreams is to stop looking for her.

Michael Wright's long awaited sequel did not disappoint. His discriptions of life in France give an intimate insight into what it is like to live as the French do. This book is about his search for a partner to share this life, which succeeds. The last chapter is a brilliant piece of writing, it will make you smile, laugh and cry but you end the book knowing that in another two years or so there will be more. Can't wait!

Unlike many other authors who write columns for newspapers Michael has NOT produced a book of compilations of such. Also this book is not like C'est la Folie-it is much much more, being really in depth. Will the next book be even better-seems like we're waiting for it already?
This book is based on the search for love in the form of the right woman but also covers many of the other loves in the Author's life, especially aircarft. A few sad bits but offset by the manic Digby!
Excellent work especially with everything else going on around him.

I previously enjoyed Michael Wrights book "C'est La Folie". With this second book, again I find the writing a delight. Michael clearly and humourously, describes his life in rural France. His column in the Telegraph on Saturdays, gives a good feel of what these two books are about.

A lot of the pleasure comes from the quality of the writing. Too rare these days.

It is nearly four years since I read his first book,"C'est La Folie" which I thoroughly enjoyed. It has been a long wait but well worth while.

I always read Michael's column in Sunday's Telegraph and also the article about his family, in Saturday's Telegraph where I noticed that his new book was on sale. I ordered it straight away, and started to read it immediately. I was so engrossed with the book that my wife said to me, "You'll be sorry when you finish it", which of course I am. I have to say that it is one of the most enjoyable books I have read, and think it is even better than "C'est La Folie". May be that is because I found it very romantic.

Thank you for giving a grandfather so much pleasure and enjoyment. I just hope that you write another book, and if you do, that I am still around to read it.
